This is for a challenge at another site where we are given an old picture and challenged to make up a story about it.

JOURNALING:
Wild Dogs
There is a crazy story in my family's lore that one of our distant relatives was carried off by a Mabeco, or African Wild Dog, when that branch of the family was living in Zimbabwe. It used to come up every Thanksgiving when my big extended family would gather from far-flung parts of the world to celebrate the holiday at Grandma Historias' Pennsylvania farm. The basic story was this boy was attacked while sitting on an old motorbike made by a company called "Mabeco" (allegedly Portuguese for "wild dog.") He was having his picture taken by his father, or uncle, or SOME other relative when a pack of dogs suddenly appeared and dragged the poor child off into the savanna. One version of the story has a neighbor, long suspected of being a warlock, conjuring the dog pack to exact vengeance for some perceived slight. No one really believed the story, but it DID keep some of the younger cousins wide-eyed and on the edges of their seats!
Then, one day, in the old wine cellar, one of those cousins found this old torn photo.
Hmmmm.
