Show respect to connect. “Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. Outdo one another in showing honor.” Romans 12:10. Respect/by: I often forget why I'm doing things, like in the grand scheme of things. This year, I want to focus on connecting with people through showing them respect by being responsible. This is hard for me to do because of how I grew up. I will respect myself by self-care, hygiene, dress every day. I will respect Scott by doing my chores and other things around the house that need doing, and I will remember I'm doing that to make it better for everyone. I will respect the cats by scooping their boxes on time twice a day. I will respect my students by doing prep ahead of class. I will respect myself by setting and keeping deadlines. I will respect my family by spending more time connecting with them and less time online.
