Journaling reads:
Mon I slept on my side last night because my back was hurting from sitting all day. Unfortunately, I was not supposed to be on my side for another four weeks. I woke up around 4am and I had a lot of trouble moving. It was horrible. I eventually managed to sit up and took some pain medication. It was a little early, but I was in agony. I went back to sleep and felt a bit better by the time I woke up again. Spent day scrapping again. I did a special layout of Mars.

Tue Talked to Mars' daughter, Elizabeth on the phone for a long time today. We talked about the trip to Vancouver where I met up with Mars and Elizabeth and Mary. It was really nice talking with her. Spent the rest of the day scrapping.

Wed Made the mistake of trying to unload the dishwasher and making my own breakfast. Rand had to help me to my chair, I hurt so much. I don't think I am supposed to be bending and turning that much. Scrapped. Pam came over to visit for a while, it was lovely seeing her. Did my Bible Study work and attended Wednesday night Bible Study. I did not participate as much, am still in a lot of pain. Marie called to ask if I could scrap an inspirational thing for her to get printed on the cover of their Bible Study journals. Cynthia from DBE called to see how I was doing.

Thu Karen came over today and so did Dave. Karen took down and dusted the Christmas ornaments and did all our laundry, including the beds. Dave hung out. We ordered from 19 for dinner, but David did not stay. I had the lobster pasta, it is so good. It was so wonderful to see family after so long. Karen has just tested negative for COVID and David is pretty isolated.

Fri Dr Hicks office called to say that mum needed to drink more water. Her blood work came back indicating her kidney function has deteriorated. Margaret from DBE and Terry from High School called to see how I was doing.

Sat Sat and scrapped and binge watched Monk. I bought a bunch of stuff for $1 at the GingerScraps sale. It took a long time to upzip it. Basically, I am just sitting around not doing much of anything until I recover. I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Sandra, who assured me that what I am going through it normal. That is good to know.

Sun After watching church online, we watched the Chiefs vs Browns post season game. First day without any medication and I am hanging in there. Steven called a few times to get advice from Dad about drilling in the wall to hang his TV. Karen was supposed to come by, but we rearranged for tomorrow, which worked out better for her (work) and her dad (football!). I am scrapping this!
