Journal: Anna was my maternal great-grandmother and even though I was only 10 yrs old when she passed, I  remembered her crocheting.  When I was getting married, Mom gave me one of her handkerchiefs that she beautifully crocheted a lace border around.  I kept it in my bouquet of flowers as my something old.   Later I  tucked it in my evening bag and 35 years later while cleaning, I came across it.  For a moment I shed a few tears as I thought of her.  I  feel blessed to have one of many of her handiwork pieces along with her family bible.
