For week 4, my subject it is going to be dad for both challenges.
Dad passed away on February 5th, 2021.
The very last words my dad said to me were "I love you. Even if you don't believe me, I honestly do".

I've scraplifted one of my fave scrappers at this community: Cinderella.

I love this so much! It's so much better than my page. Your shadow work is amazing, everything looks so real! You nailed this challenge.

It's also a great tribute to your dad. I'm so sorry for your loss, dear friend. I know the pain...

I am sorry for your loss. This month marks 16 years since my Dad died and I still miss him and always will. Your page is a lovely tribute to him. I am sure he knew that you loved him.

Today is 13 years since my dad's been gone. I miss him every day. I am so sorry for your loss.

I love this shadow box style layout! I have a shadow box 12" frame and I've been lamenting I don't really have any little objects to put in it with a photograph, but this sparks whole new realms of possibilities! I hope you print and frame your lovely tribute and hang it in your home.

incredible layering and depth to your page both in terms of the journaling and in the techniques and shadowing that you used. what a great tribute to your dad and the colors are perfect for a masculine page.... neat how you put things inside and on top of and around the layers for more dimension

Outstanding layout and great tribute to your Father. I loved Cinderella's layout too and I wanted to scraplift it, but for the life of me, couldn't figure out how to make the page edges look 3-D!! Sounds like a tutorial in the making!
