Busch Stadium

As a Reds fan I joked and called it “treading on enemy ground” with my quietly defiant Reds ponytail scrunchie, trading barbs with my best friend, a Cardinals fan! LOL

The new Busch Stadium is outstanding! The sight lines are great, the Arch and city views beautiful and the Club Level, where we sat, was almost like having season or suite tickets with the way fans were cared for! In the Club Level there is an indoor, air conditioned, concession area. It is decorated with Cardinal memorabilia and history and has the best food in the ball park! Yes, they had hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and soft pretzels, but they also has salads, sushi, Mongolian-style stir-fry and hot dogs or bratwurst baked in a pretzel! So many choices, but the decision was easy! Kelly got the bratzel and I got the pretzel dog!

My best friend is cheering for the Cardinals! OH NO!!!

Wanna know how much clout Kelly has? The one Cardinal she’s not nuts about is Cody Rasmus. Going into the bottom of the seventh, the Giants were up 10-3. When Rasmus came to plate, he hit Kelly a grand slam! Such the politician, kissing up to Kelly while making sure to not tick me off. Wow!

Final score Giants won 12-7.
