My First Dream Job, My First Tv Idol

I was only about 5 or 6 years old, but I loved watching TV commercials. They didn't make me want everything I saw on TV I just thought the commercials were fun to watch.

I remember watching Bewitched on TV and thinking that Darrin Stephens. He had the greatest job in the world. HE MADE ADVERTISEMENTS! That would be so wonderful to

grow up and have a job making advertisements.

I didn't need to marry a warlock. Darrin’s job was perfect without having a witch for a wife.

Fast forward a few years. In high school I did advertising for the croissant sales the French

club did to earn money for our trip to Quebec.

I owned a DBA business doing advertising layouts for small businesses when I was 18.

After trade school I started working as a cable TV producer. In cable TV.. I won a state-wide

award in Michigan for one of my promotional spots.

After finishing my bachelors degree I worked in the video library with producers creating advertising for TV. I created the product and did all the advertising for my second attempt at owning a business when I was 37

I ended up getting to do a lot of that dream I had as a very small child. I might’ve been able to do more in television advertising, but multiple sclerosis cut my career short.

Maybe I needed to marry a warlock after all.
