When Abbie told me she had been invited to join the Honor Society, I was so thrilled! She then said she had to write something to be considered a member and she wasn’t sure she wanted to put in the work and then not be selected. I couldn’t believe my ears! I told her she should apply herself because I had all the faith in the world that she would be chosen. She did the work and out of 200+ applicants, she was one of 84 selected! I had no doubt in my mind that we would be sitting here tonight watching her be inducted!!
