Making Merry

For the Pinterest challenge. The cute Pinterest cabin reminded me of scenes in the two new to me holiday movies I watched while wrapping presents to mail out.

Love all those torn edges on the layers beneath the photos - and especially like the cute deer head peeking out from under the photos. The wooden background goes wonderfully with this, too.

Christmas movies and gift wrapping sound like fun way to spend a December day! Love the torn paper edges, the gold and silver accents and the worn wood backdrop!

Loving those delicious torn papers down the side!!Wrapping whilst watching Christmas movies sounds so perfect for feeling the magic of Christmas. Love the doily and mask/brush work on the bg. The buttoned string is making me all glithery and I love the ampersand..

Fantastic use of all the torn papers- I like them layered as a side border - usually see them used mostly at the top or bottom of a page. I also like the way the different paints spill out from beneath them.
