Most popular tourist attractions have many interesting and awe inspiring sights to see. Garden of the Gods was no exception but sometimes it is not park features that capture your attention but other tourists that bring an unexpected moment of delight. I found it amusing as I walked passed this gentleman with his dog and noticed that the dog was also sitting on the brick wall enjoying a rest break in the shade. Another surprise, later in the day was to discover that Den and Shiloh were also in the photo I snapped. In reality, there were also three adults and an anxious toddler who was waiting to pet this extra large dog - ahhh- the magic of photo editing . The gentleman had said to wait until the other dog had passed by. Den moved over as far as possible on the sidewalk and walked hurriedly to avoid any interaction between the two dogs.
