Prickle My Fancy

I am sure I 'pricked" my fingers more than once back in my needlework days. For many years doing counted cross-stitching was my passion. I made hundred of beautiful projects but as I grew older, my vision got so bad that I gave this needlework hobby up. Recently I came across these pics of a finished set; I guess these are probably the last project I completed.

What a wonderful thing to come across and be able to revisit w your newer hobby. So beautifully done. I love how you paired it w a bright bold paper and layered on some fun elements, too.

Oh wow! You have done this so well. I myself is a fan of counted cross stitch and is doing one right now. LOVE your layout with the photo and the big clustering with the hedgehog. Beautiful layout.

Oh yes- I hear you on the eyesight issue and for that reason will probably never pick up again with cross-stitch work. Pretty incredible. Beautiful scenes you have created back in the day.
