I Call Her Mom by Inspired Designs
This photo was taken in 1979 at my best friend, Brenda's wedding. It is a photo of Peggy, Brenda's
mum and my mom ... who were also best of friends. In 1960 when my family moved to the Kent area,
Mom went from door to door, introducing herself to the ladies in the neighborhood. Peggy invited
her in for a "spot of tea" {She was English) and there was an instant bond ... they were such close
friends. Brenda and I were only a few months apart in age, and only a few months old when our
Mom's met and became friends ... so it was no suprise that Brenda and I grew up together and
were best friends as well. I considered Peggy my "2nd Mom", just as Brenda considered my mom
her "2nd Mom". They were two very amazing women ... both helped shape me to become the woman
I am today ... I am very blessed to have called them both Mom.
