BILLY THE KID - There was plenty of excitement at The Silver Stream on Friday, 21 April 2023, as Garrett and Amy’s goat, Girtie, welcomed her first born kid! They had been axiously awaiting this little one’s arrival for weeks as the Vet had said it could be any time. When we heard the news that he was born, we hurried down to the barn to take a peek and I was amazed at how big he was. He was the first newborn farm animal I had ever seen. I think I was expecting him to be about half the size that he was. I think he will be quite large when he is fully grown.
