Tuffy made a wise decision when she chose the Melbourne family to be her forever people. She came into the family as a six week old puppy in January 2020 just before the Covid lockdowns happened and while everyone was still on Christmas holidays. Then, when holidays ended and it should have been back to work and school, Melbourne went into many months of Covid lockdown across 2020/21 so it was work from home and home schooling. Tuffy had company each day for the first year plus of her life. I wondered how she would cope when life resumed some form of normal She seems to have survived untraumatised thankfully.
