Aunt Eleanor passed away a few years ago but i've been thinking of her a lot lately. Her birthday was in June and since she was a little girl, she always had watermelon on her birthday. one year, i decided to make her a watermelon cake (filled the slices with watermelon candies) and she was absolutely THRILLED! of course, she also got her ACTUAL watermelon but she was more than happy to share a slice of that cake with everyone.
