JOURNALING: When Columbus Crew play in-state rival FC Cincinnati the clashes have been termed “Hell is Real”. Well, it certainly WAS “hell” for the visitors on August 20, 2023 when their hosts blanked them 3-0. The Crew also led in possession (62%); shots (14, with 11 on goal to 6, with 3 on goal); and passes (515 to 264). The three goal scorers for the Crew were Aidan Morris (1.), assisted by Yaw Yeboah, Cucho (2.) on a penalty kick, and Jacen Russel-Rowe (3.) with a score in the 6th minute of stoppage time at the end of the game, assist to Christian Ramirez.
