My grandson is getting married soon and I hadn't found a dress to wear for the occasion yet. As luck would have it, I was able to go to Tennessee to visit one of my sisters. Another one of my sisters came down at the same time along with her daughter. I had asked ahead of time if we could set some time aside for shopping. I wanted to find a dress with their help. Come shopping time, my niece wasn't able to come with us. We told her we would send pictures and she would have to give us her opinion. We had fun with that and even picked an outfit we would buy for her. I tried on 3 dresses at the first store. One had possibilities and an awesome price of $17.00 on sale. At the next store, one that I tried on I liked but it had a red jacket which I thought would make me stand out too much as everyone else would be in fall colors. When I sent the pictures to 2 of my daughters and my niece they all liked it. There was possibility Number 2. However, I wasn't sure so on we went. I had wanted an ankle length dress but wasn't having much luck so, change in tactics and looked at knee length dresses. The first try was ok but not quite right. Then I tried on a blue dress. Backwards first of course! It made me feel like a princess! Both my sisters told me my eyes lit up when I had it on. We tried one more store, but nothing beat my blue "princess" dress. That is the one I will wear for the wedding.
