The colors of the inspiration spoke to me and inspired me to scap some old pictures a friend returned to me. I don't really like them but I need to have some of my past.

I'm so sorry that you lost all of your photos and keepsakes! It's wonderful that your friend had saved these and helped plug a hole of something missing. The filmstrip frame of all of the photos is a nice touch. The colors are really pretty, and including your journal really makes the page special.

awesome journaling...indeeed, i understand missing a piece of something connecting you to your past..this is so cute b/c it really does like the 80's with the colors you used..love the splash of orange..really nice smudgy look to the font...and what a great stitch!
