The old packhorse bridge in Carrbridge was build in 1717 and is the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands of Scotland.


It was build to allow funeral processions to reach Duthill church by crossing the river Dulnain.


That is why the bridge has it’s nickname : Coffin bridge. 


It is now a popular tourist attraction.
