JOURNALING: For our mutual birthday, Karon and I journeyed to Lithopolis for opening night of “The House at Pooh Corner” presented by Wagnall’s Community Theater at the beautiful and historic Wagnalls Memorial Library. To our surprise, all of the characters, except Christopher Robin,  were puppets controlled on stage by the actors.  One of the co-directors, Sam Myers, said in an interview  “Everyone has really become one with their puppet which has been really cool to see.” Once we adjusted our expectations to this little eccentricity, it was a delightful little show.  All of the actors and their puppets greeted theater-goers as we left the library for the drive home. 4/19/24
