In October, 2022, Eric Lind of Eureka, MO spotted what appeared to be a witch riding a broom across the sky. He captured photos of the real culprit - a young Great Horned Owl which had captured a child’s hobby horse and was joyfully flying around with it. The photos spread across the internet and local news. Mr. Lind explained in his interview that if any of the neighborhood children were missing the hobby horse, they would have to talk to the owl about it. I love this fun October story!
