My sweet girls are mother (Cocoa) and daughter (Nutmeg). We got Nutmeg as a puppy. About 18 months later, we found out that Cocoa needed another home (she didn’t get along well with the other animals where she was). I wasn’t sure we needed a second dog. When we went to spend some time with her and make the decision (I was the lone holdout), she sucked up to me like she knew I had to give the final word. It worked, and she came home with us that day. To this day, she spends most evenings lying in her bed next to my desk area. Nutmeg likes to lay behind me in my chair and is annoying until you let her jump up and she loves to cuddle up with you to take a nap.
