Journaling- I have always LOVED this song.I really believe that the lyrics ring true.I have a four year old daughter, and I am trying to teach her this very lesson. Every time we go to a store, museum, zoo, or gas station, she wants me to buy her something. The ironic thing is, the girl has soooo much- an abundance of toys, two pet cats, a cozy home, her own bedroom, two parents happily under one roof, and a loving extended family. I could go on and on. Teaching the difference between a WANT and a NEED has proven to be a challenge for me.

And you make a good point. As moms, we try so hard to prepare our children for life. It's a tough job, but we do the best we can.
