Journaling Reads: We took the kids to Lake Tobias Wildlife Park for the day. It was a sunny & hot, perfect for spending time together outside in a beautiful place, but all the kids did was whine, & whine, and whine some more. We had packed a picnic lunch, and all they wanted to do was go sit and eat lunch instead of seeing the animals. So we walked all the way back to the truck, and had our picnic lunch under a shade tree. It was amazing how their attitudes changed after they ate, and then they were all good to go see the animals in the park!
