Journaling: I believe that this photo fairly accurately captures what mornings are like around here. Of course, the part you cannot see is the chaos that is going on all around this grumpy little girl. The baby crying because he was awakened by his older siblings fighting. The oldest standing around announcing the time every 5 minutes for fear of being late for school. The middle boy randomly smacking people for no apparent reason. Dad rolling out of bed after a difficult night’s sleep trying to stay in his corner of the world as long as possible. Mom frantically trying to feed and clothe everyone while getting ready herself, and doing a very poor job of keeping everyone happy and on time. Overall mayhem. That is Morning in the Evangelista home. Journaled March, 2011. Photo from January, 2010. And although the photo and journaling are over a year apart, the mornings have remained the same. At least we are consistent.
