Recipe -


INGREDIENTS:


1C Cornflour
3/4C Sugar
2tsp Plain Flour
1tsp Cream of Tartar
1/2tsp Bicarb Soda
4 Eggs - separated
Pinch of Salt
Strawberry Jam
Pink & Blue Icing


INSTRUCTIONS:


Preheat oven to 180C.
Sift cornflour, plain flour, cream of tartar and bicarb soda.
Beat egg whites and salt until stiff.
Gradually add sugar and beat until quite stiff.
Add egg yolk and beat until thick.
Fold in the flour mixture.
Pour mixture into 2 greased and lined round tins.
Bake for 20-30mins.
When cakes have cooled, put one on serving plate. Spread with strawberry jam. Place other cake on top.
Ice and decorate with lollies, trim and candles.
