Arboretum

The East Texas Arboretum in Athens, Texas is one of my discoveries of this season. It is made up of over 100 acres that include formal gardens, historic buildings and a wooded nature area with more than 2 miles of naturalistic hiking trails. I never even knew this oasis existed and it is less than 100 miles from my home. March 2012
