Fun visit to the
Chattanooga Station
and the gorgeous hotel on the historic registry. Many parts of the station are original including the tile in the bathrooms.
We enjoyed good old
southern cooking at the restaurant. I had shrimp ‘n grits.


March 5, 1880 was the
first passenger train from Cincinnatti to
Chattanooga and nicknamed the:
Chattanooga Choo-Choo.
Operated by the Cincinnati Southern RR
America’s first municipal
rail system.
