Candy 1955

I used a royalty-free image (then put it in PSP and used the time-machine vintage-style filter), used a couple of borders in the kit, and then just supplemented with extra ellies over and under the borders. I was born in the 50's so these old ads intrigue me, lol.

Fantastic effect on the picture to add to the vintage feel. The date tag layered into the stack looks fabulous with the font you used being so close to the one on the ad.

I love these ads, too...gives a sense of nostalgia and simplicity of years long ago. Now it's all about high speed and how fast and how much you can pack in your days. you did a great job recoloring it, what a great technique! And I love all the embellies over and under the borders. It looks fantastic and gives such depth to the layout!!
